EVELYN UNDERHILL TIMELLINE 1875 (December 6): Evelyn Underhill was born in Wolverhampton, England. 1888–1891:  Underhill attended Sandgate House boarding school in Folkestone. 1891:  Underhill was confirmed in Anglican Church. 1897–1898:  Underhill attended King’s College, University of London, and began a period of atheism. 1898:  Underhill made her first trip to Italy. 1904:  Underhill’s first novel, The Grey World, was published. Her vocation as a spiritual director began. She met Ethel Ross Barker, who was to become her best friend. 1907:  Underhill had a conversion experience at Southampton. Her second novel, The Lost Word, was published. AHMADI RELIGION OF PEACE AND LIGHT TIMELINE 1968 (March 21):  Ahmed al-Hassan was born in Basra, Iraq. 1983 (July 27):  Abdullah Hashem was born in Indiana, United States, from an Egyptian father and an American mother. 1999:  Ahmed al-Hassan announced that he was the prophesied Yamani and a messenger from Imam Mahdi. 2002: A severe persecution of the al-Hassan movement started in Iraq and Iran. 2007: Ahmed al-Hassan was last seen and photographed in Iraq, after which he went into hiding. 2012:  A faction known as the “White Banners” headquartered in Najaf, Iraq, started publishing, including via Facebook, messages from Ahmed al-Hassan that others regarded as apocryphal. 2015:  Abdullah Hashem proclaimed the appearance of Imam Mahdi and that he was in contact with al-Hassan. GLORIAVALE TIMELINE 1926:  Neville Barclay Cooper was born. 1947:  Cooper, who was twenty-one married his first wife, Gloria, who was fifteen. 1950:  Cooper (later, Hopeful Christian) became an evangelist in Australia. 1967:  Cooper traveled to New Zealand as an evangelist. 1969:  Cooper lead a schism in the New Life Church in Rangiora. 1971:  A Christian school was founded at Springbank farm near Rangiora. 1977:  The Christian Community Church of Springbank founded. 1987:  The Hutterites visited the Springbank church. 1991:  Cooper’s first wife, Gloria, died. 1991:  The community purchased a new site for Gloriavale at Haupiri Valley, on the West Coast. 1993:  Cooper was charged by the police with sexual offenses. 1995:  Sale of the Springbank church was completed. MAGNIFICAT MEAL TIMELINE 1953 (June 17):  Debra Burslem was born in Melbourne. 1973:  Debra Burslem married Gordon Geileskey. 1992 (some date to 1986 or 1990):  The Magnificat Meal Movement (MMM) began in Melbourne. 1993:  The Geileskeys’ real estate business collapsed; they relocated to Toowoomba (Queensland). 1993:  The Magnificat Meal Movement arrived in Toowoomba (Queensland).
