Infosecte/Infocult
Info-Secte/InfoCult describes itself as a “non-profit charitable organization founded in 1980 in Montreal (Quebec, Canada), which provides assistance and information about cults, new religious movements and related groups or subjects.” The information the organization provides information on “a wide range of topics and viewpoints on sects, new religious movements and extremist groups.”

Religion in the News
The Pew Charitable Trusts sponsor the Pew Research Center. The Center describes itself as ” a nonpartisan fact tank that informs the public about the issues, attitudes and trends shaping America and the world. One of the services it provides is “Religion in the News.”

Religion Dispatches
The Religion Dispatches describes itself as “a  secular, independent online magazine that stands at the intersection of religion, politics, and culture.” The objective is ” to create a new way of thinking about religion in American culture and politics, one that challenges last century’s media dominance by an ultra-conservative fringe, that invites free discussion of religious ideas once they’ve hit the public square—and that keeps us and our readership powerfully engaged.”

Religion News Service
The Religion News Service describes itself as delivering ” an unbiased viewpoint on breaking news from around the world, reporting on faith, spirituality and religion.”

Religioscope is available online in both English and French. The site offers articles, interviews and documents on a diverse array of subjects related to religion.

World-Wide Religion News describes itself as ” a non-profit service to provide the international academic and legal community (as well as various government agencies) with up to date religious news from around the world.”
