Dr. Kathleen Henderson Staudt has worked as a teacher, poet, and spiritual director at Virginia Theological Seminary, Wesley Theological Seminary, and the University of Maryland, College Park. Serving as President of the Evelyn Underhill Association (EUA), she facilitates EUA’s annual Quiet Day in honor of Evelyn Underhill, held near the grounds of Washington National Cathedral in Washington DC. A finalist in the 2021 Paraclete Poetry contest, she has published four books of poetry as well as scholarly books and many articles on the British Catholic artist and poet David Jones, whose work is rooted in a sense of connection between art and sacrament.
