The Thrifty Quaker Thrift Store

The Thrifty Quaker was established in 1996 by the Midlothian Friends Meeting in Midlothian and is located in the Midlothian Station Shopping Center. The goal of the congregation in creating The Quaker was to offer resources to organizations and charities that assist local citizens and families in need of financial help, such as veterans of war, victims of violence and disasters, and other underprivileged groups and citizens. All of the after-expense proceeds of the store to a charity that is designated monthly by the Peace and Social Action Committee of the Midlothian Friends Meeting. The employees of the store also contribute to additional community projects in which they feed the needy and homeless and help supply clothing and shelter to others in need as well. The store has donated over $2,000,000 to numerous charities since its inception.

[There need to be a couple of sentences that describe where the store gets its goods and what kind of goods it sells}
