Justin Stein

Justin B. Stein is a doctoral candidate and course instructor at the Department for the Study of Religion and the Centre for Diaspora and Transnational Studies at the University of Toronto. His dissertation project, “Alternate Currents: Reiki Healing and Transnational Religion in the Modern North Pacific,” examines the development of Reiki through its movement from Japan to Hawaii to North America over the course of the middle decades of the twentieth century.
