Edward Irons is a researcher, consultant, and writer on Chinese culture and religion. He specializes in Yiguandao and Chinese new religions, as well as leadership studies. He obtained his PhD from the Graduate Theological Union in 2000. He founded the Hong Kong Institute for Culture, Commerce and Religion in 2003.
