Elizabeth A. Goodine

Elizabeth A. Goodine earned her Ph.D. in Religion at Temple University in 2004. She currently teaches at Loyola University New Orleans, focusing on courses in Early Christianity and World Religions. Her research interests include movements of power within relationships, particularly in regard to women in early Christian history and gender discrimination in the modern Christian context. Her book, Standing at Lyon: An Examination of the Martyrdom of Blandina of Lyon (2009), discusses the re-presentation of Christ in Blandina of Lyon’s martyrdom.
