WOMEN IN THE WORLD'S RELIGIONS
AND SPIRITUALITY PROJECT

The Mission of the Women in the World's Religions and Spirituality Project (WWRSP) is to educate the public about the significant contributions women make and have made in the development of religions on a global level. Articles published through
WWRSP on the World Religions and Spirituality Project (WRSP) website focus on women founders and leaders,
religious groups and movements founded and/or shaped by women, the roles women practitioners play in
specific religious groups and traditions, and controversial issues concerning women in religions.
Academic, but accessible, articles by scholars of record about these and other topics are
aimed at readers seeking reliable information about women in religions.
