GWILYM BECKERLEGGE
Gwilym Beckerlegge is Professor of Modern Religions in the Department of Religious Studies at the Open University, UK. The legacy of Swami Vivekananda, and particularly his promotion of seva (service to humanity) continues to provide the focus of much of Gwilym Beckerlegge's research. He has published extensively on the Ramakrishna Math and Mission and other movements, including Vivekananda Kendra, which have identified themselves with both the ideology of Hindu Nationalism and Vivekananda's philosophy.
